Double Addiction: PBB Double Up
After watching seasons 1 and 2 of Pinoy Big Brother, I must say that this is the most exciting regular season they have so far. Apart from the apparent two houses, the thrilling tasks and the awesome selection of housemates make PBB a more exciting viewing pleasure.
I say thrilling because the two twins' task was extremely difficult to begin with (miss the lagumbay twins and melai-toffiffi loveteam), the Rob-Rica task was an extreme challenge for Rob (remember Rob is a straight guy and Rica is a transexual woman who still sounds and looks gay), and the pretend marital task was a very discomforting situation for Patrick, Jimson and Kath (Patrick who has a family outside had to pretend as the husband of Kath whose real husband is Jimson).
And, I say great selection of housemates because there was not only a set of twins but rather two sets of twins. How cool is that! (I was actually saddened bu their forced eviction). Then we have conservative Carol who is now gradually coming our of her shell (she's such a sweet girl especially when she massaged Patrick's hands while doing a sacrificial task in exchange to their failed pretend marital task). We also have the married couple. Now, how a married couple act and perform inside Big Brother's house is an exciting event to keep tab with. The inclusion of transgender Rica would also measure how ready the Filipinos are to welcome this kind of orientation. And of course, the hillarious Melissa a.k.a. Melay makes PBB Double Up the most lovable season to date. What with her natural comedic flair and outrageous quips and antics. She is absolutely the spirit of season 3. To borrow Bianca's expression again and again, I LOVE HER SO SO MUCH!
